Receipts & Balance Pack — Notion or Excel partials honest
By Nydaymuse · Updated
What belongs in a receipts & balance pack?
Invoices, one Receipt row per payment, Balances as invoice minus receipts, and a lite aging view for open money.
Overwriting a single “amount paid” field hides partials. Freelancers need a receipts log — not another full accounting suite.
Till is Nydaymuse’s $12 dual-format receipts & balance pack: Invoices, Receipts, Balances, and Aging_Lite as Notion CSVs and as an Excel / Sheets workbook (README, Dashboard, Invoices, Receipts, Balances, Aging, Month_Close). Pick one.
Why one receipt row per payment
Ops is the fuller money workbook. Slip is the invoice page. Till is the dual-format receipts → balance layer so partials stay honest.
Pair with Ops, free Slip, Nudge, and Ledgerette.
Partials stay honest
Balance = invoice − sum of receipts. Never overwrite amount paid by hand if you log Receipts. Aging_Lite buckets show where open money sits.
Month-close habit
Month_Close asks whether every bank/card payment has a Receipt row, whether balances match, and whether Overdue items have a Nudge scheduled.
Till — dual Notion + Excel pack ($12)
Till is buy-once, English, no support. Notion CSVs plus Excel / Sheets workbook. Fictional SAMPLE rows — delete and replace. Not Cue, Bound, or Pitch. Not tax advice. Not a collections agency.
