Contract Status Desk — Notion or Excel sent → signed
By Nydaymuse · Updated
What belongs in a contract status desk?
Clients, agreements (MSA/SOW/addendum), signature rows with chase counts, and dated events from sent → fully executed — status only, not clause drafting.
Freelancers lose days when “the contract is out” lives only in email. A calm status desk beats another legal template pack.
Seal is Nydaymuse’s $12 dual-format contract status desk: Clients, Agreements, Signatures, and Dates as Notion CSVs and as an Excel / Sheets workbook. Pick one.
Why status beats buried PDFs
Quill tracks proposal won/lost. Pier schedules deposits after you are signed. Seal is the dual-format status desk: sent → in review → waiting → signed → expired. Pair with Quill, Pier, Kickoff, and Lane.
Chase with dates, then expire
Every Sent agreement needs a Waiting signature row and a due_or_target date. Raise chase_count; after silence, move to Expired and stop.
Fully executed unlocks deposit
When Signatures are Complete, hand off to Pier for deposit and Kickoff for start — do not start unpaid work on Draft agreements.
Seal — dual Notion + Excel pack ($12)
Seal is buy-once, English, no support. Notion CSVs (Clients, Agreements, Signatures, Dates) plus an Excel / Sheets workbook. Fictional SAMPLE rows — delete and replace. Not Cue, Bound, or Pitch. Not legal advice.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use Notion and Excel at the same time?
No. Pick one home base. Seal includes both formats so you can choose.
Is Seal a live Notion duplicate link?
No. You import CSVs (or rebuild from the outline).
How is Seal different from Quill or Pier?
Quill tracks proposal won/lost. Pier is deposit + milestone schedule. Seal is the dual-format contract status desk (sent → signed). Not Bound.
